“A set of studs for leather armour.”

What to offer

room to compete
Buy at210pay up to 315
Sell at322accept down to 215
105 to outbid other buyers107 to undercut other sellers

The two ranges overlap, so there is slack whichever side you push — but they are cut from the same 106 margin. Spend it all outbidding and there is none left for undercutting.

These are limits, not predictions. Steel studs last sold at 210 and last bought at 322 — offering exactly those joins a queue at a price that has already cleared. How long you wait depends on how many other offers are stacked at each price, and the Grand Exchange does not publish that to anyone outside Jagex.

About this item

Steel studs can be smithed from a steel bar at an anvil with level 36 Smithing, granting 37.5 experience. They can then be used on leather bodies with level 41 Crafting or leather chaps with level 44 Crafting, to make studded bodies and studded chaps respectively.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
