Security book

“WARNING: Contains information which could make your account secure!”

About this item

The Security book, titled Account Security, is a book that contains information on how you can protect your account and bank account through: using a Jagex Account, which has built-in two-factor authentication; setting up two-factor authentication on your email address; your password: - how it is built up (use both letters and numbers); - how memorable it is to you; - how hard it is for others to guess; - the way you look after it (don't write it down nor save it in a text file, as others may find it; don't share it with ANYONE); setting a Bank PIN; not leaving your account logged in while you are away from the device; overcoming the challenges of the Stronghold of Security. The Security book can be obtained for free from the Security Guard in Port Sarim jail. It can also be found in a bookcase in a player-owned house. The book can be purchased from several general stores and from Trader Stan's Trading Post.

it moves further in a day than the spread you are trying to capture

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 22.19% in a day, which is more than the 6.36% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
