Bronze platebody

“Provides excellent protection.”

About this item

The bronze platebody is an armour used in melee and the weakest of all platebodies. It has no Defence requirement to equip and provides greater protection than a bronze chainbody. Like all platebodies, however, it gives a crippling negative bonus to the user's Ranged and Magic stats. Players with level 18 Smithing can make one by using 5 bronze bars on an anvil while carrying a hammer, granting 62.5 experience.

Its high alch value of 96 does not cover the 154 nature rune it would burn, so alching is a loss before the item itself is counted.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 5.33% in a day, which is more than the 5.00% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
