About this item

An impling jar is a butterfly jar treated with Imp Repellent. These jars are used to catch implings in both the Impetuous Impulses minigame and all over Gielinor. Impling jars cannot be used to catch butterflies. When opening a caught impling in a jar, the jar has a 10% chance of being destroyed.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 1.01% in a day, which is more than the 0.49% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
