The 3rd Age longsword is a one-handed slash sword requiring level 65 Attack to wield. Part of the 3rd Age armour set, the longsword can be obtained as a possible reward from elite and master Treasure Trails and cannot be made through any skills. It can also be obtained when opening mimic caskets, after defeating the Mimic boss.The 3rd Age longsword uniquely uses different combat options to other weapons of its category: despite it being a slash sword, it uses two-handed sword combat styles, giving it a crush attack instead of a stab attack style. The 3rd Age longsword is currently the second-strongest longsword in the game, surpassing the dragon longsword but falling just below Vesta's longsword, which can only be used in PvP.
