“Can be used as bait for catching anglerfish.”

About this item

Sandworms are bait used with a fishing rod to catch anglerfish. They can be purchased from Tynan's Fishing Supplies in Port Piscarilius or caught on the shores of Piscarilius, in the north-east area directly east of the bank and just north of Tynan. When the player reaches 15 Hunter, sandworms can be caught on the shores of Piscarilius by digging sandworm castings with a spade and buckets. Each bucket will fill with either sand or sandworms, with the latter yielding 10 Hunter experience.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
