About this item

The Anglerfish is a type of fish that restores 3-22 Hitpoints depending on your Hitpoints level (see table below). Unlike other foods, anglerfish may also heal above your maximum hitpoints up to the amount restored, with a maximum of 121 hitpoints if the player has a base level of 99 hitpoints. This does not apply if the player is in combat in a PvP area, whether with another player or a non-player character. It can be obtained by cooking raw anglerfish on a fire or cooking range, requiring level 84 Cooking and granting 230 experience when successful.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
