About this item
The amulet of defence is created when an emerald amulet has been enchanted using the Lvl-2 Enchant spell. It is not widely used, as it only gives defence bonuses. However, it can prove useful in situations where more damage is going to be taken than dealt, such as skilling in the Wilderness or activities like Pyramid Plunder. For this purpose, for Members, the Gnome amulet can be a better option as it has nearly twice the melee defensive bonuses (but no ranged or magic defensive bonuses).
