Similar to onions, the message It's always sad to see a grown [man/woman/person] cry. appears when eaten. Creating chopped onion is one of multiple steps needed to create the mushroom potato which requires level 64 Cooking and restores 20 Hitpoints, as well as the ugthanki kebab which requires level 58 Cooking and restores 19 hitpoints.
