Wizard's mind bomb

“It's got strange bubbles in it.”

About this item

The wizard's mind bomb is a type of ale that restores 1 Hitpoint and temporarily boosts Magic by +2 (+3 if level 50+ Magic) while draining Attack, Strength and Defence by ⌊Level×0.05⌋+1 (see table below). It can be obtained through brewing at level 34 Cooking, granting 314 experience per batch. It is brewed using 2 buckets of water, 2 barley malt, 4 yanillian hops, and a pot of ale yeast. It can also be bought from several shops.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 5.30% in a day, which is more than the 1.28% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
