Heavy ballistamembers

“A powerful weapon forged from the wreckage of an airship.”

About this item

The heavy ballista is a two-handed crossbow that uses javelins as ammunition, requiring level 75 in Ranged and the completion of the quest Monkey Madness II to wield. Players must also accept both Duke and Daero's training in order to make use of it, unlike the light ballista. Attempting to equip the ballista without these requirements results in the message You must have completed Monkey Madness II and the advanced combat training from Duke to be able to wield this weapon.. While there is no direct Defence requirement for the heavy ballista, completing the required training from Daero after Monkey Madness I will provide a minimum of 20,000 Defence experience.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
