About this item

Burnt pages are a possible reward from the Reward Cart upon subduing the Wintertodt, or created at the Book of Eternal Flame with desiccated pages and level 50 Runecraft. They are used to charge the tome of fire, which gives it additional effects. Each burnt page adds 20 charges to the tome, and one charge is consumed when an elemental fire spell is cast with the tome equipped. Players may remove the pages from the tome should they wish to do so.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
