Amethyst is a type of mineral mined from amethyst crystals in the Mining Guild. Mining it requires the player to have a Mining level of 92 and grants 240 Mining experience. Amethyst can be cut with a chisel into several Fletching materials, including arrowtips, bolt tips, dart tips, and javelin tips. Amethyst materials and ammunition made from amethyst fall between rune and dragon gear in terms of level requirements and power.
