Zombie axemembers

“A rusty yet powerful axe.”

About this item

The zombie axe is a one-handed axe that requires 65 Attack to wield. It is created by taking a broken zombie axe, obtained as a drop from armoured zombies, to an anvil and repairing it with 70 Smithing. The axe's high strength bonus and slash attack stats are higher than any other one-handed weapon, while its crush attack bonus is only surpassed by the dragon warhammer and Inquisitor's mace (not counting PVP-only weapons). Despite its 5-tick attack speed, the axe performs better than the dragon scimitar and against enemies weak to crush or enemies with higher defence, such as a gargoyle, the axe can deal even more average damage than an abyssal whip.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
