Dual macuahuitlmembers

“A brutal pair.”

About this item

The dual macuahuitl (in English pronounced roughly mah-KWAH-weetl) is a non-degradable two-handed spiked weapon that requires level 70 Attack and 75 Strength to equip, which is obtained as a possible reward from the Lunar Chest in Neypotzli. The weapon hits twice per attack, spaced 1 game tick apart when attacking monsters, with its maximum hit split out over both hitsplats. The first hit takes half, rounded down, and the second hit takes the remainder, meaning a maximum hit of 41 will be split into two maximum hits of 20 and 21. Each hitsplat has its own accuracy check.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
