“The chestplate of the Blood Moon.”

About this item

The Blood Moon chestplate is an item that requires level 75 Strength and 50 Defence to equip, which is obtained as a possible reward from the Lunar Chest in Neypotzli. With similar stats to a fighter torso, it is tradeable and has identical strength bonus, while having +50 more magic defence bonus. When worn with all of the other pieces of the Blood Moon armour set, the player gains the Bloodrager set effect, where the dual macuahuitl has a 33% chance to hit one tick sooner upon a successful hit; using the weapon's special attack guarantees the effect. As with all Moon equipment it is degradeable, much like Barrows equipment.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 1.59% in a day, which is more than the 0.52% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
