Blood Moon tassets are an item that requires level 75 Strength and 50 Defence to equip, which is obtained as a possible reward from the Lunar Chest in Neypotzli. With an identical strength bonus to the Bandos tassets and having +36 more magic defence bonus, it can be considered as a cheaper, easier to acquire alternative. When worn with all of the other pieces of the Blood Moon armour set, the player gains the Bloodrager set effect, where the dual macuahuitl has a 33% chance to hit one tick sooner upon a successful hit; using the weapon's special attack guarantees the effect. As with all Moon equipment, it is degradeable, much like Barrows equipment.
