Hemp can be harvested from a hops patch after planting three hemp seeds with 37 Farming. They are used in Crafting to spin hemp yarn or as payment to protect cotton plants (x6). Hemp yarn can be used to build a hemp trawling net or woven into bolts of canvas, which can be used to upgrade masts and sails on a boat. A nearby gardener will watch over growing a hemp plant for 6 flax.
