About this item

Swordtip squid is a type of fish that restores 15 Hitpoints when eaten. It can be obtained by cooking raw swordtip squid on a fire or cooking range, requiring level 56 Cooking and granting 150 experience when successful. When cooking there is a chance to fail, resulting in burnt swordtip squid. The burn rate decreases as the player's Cooking level increases, and it will stop burning entirely at level 91, or 85 if using a cooking range.

Its high alch value of 60 does not cover the 150 nature rune it would burn, so alching is a loss before the item itself is counted.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 43.82% in a day, which is more than the 18.26% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
