About this item

A haddock eye is a Herblore secondary used to make super fishing potions. It can be obtained by using a knife on a raw haddock from deep sea trawling, yielding one eye per haddock upon success, whose chance scales with the player's Cooking level. If cutting on a chum facility, players will receive haddock eyes equal to the number of haddocks cut on that tick, assuming a successful cut. For example, a chum spreader can cut 4 haddocks per tick, yielding a potential maximum of 4 haddock eyes per tick.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
