About this item
The aquanite hopper is a ranged offhand requiring level 60 Ranged to equip. It is created by using an aquanite tendon on an anvil whilst having a mithril bar and hammer in the player's inventory, requiring level 60 Smithing and granting 350 experience. The hopper is a purely offensive shield slot item with no defensive bonuses, but possesses a passive effect in which crossbows are given an 11% chance to fire a second shot when the hopper is equipped. This second shot has 33.3% reduced accuracy, 66.7% reduced damage, and 66.7% reduced enchanted bolt proc chance; if the first shot procs an enchanted bolt effect, the second shot will never do so.
