The ascension crossbows are a reward from the Fractured Archive, requiring 80 Ranged to wield. They are an improved, heavy ranged equivalent to the toxic blowpipe, with an attack speed of 3 ticks on accurate and longrange, or 2 ticks on rapid, in player versus monster combat. Like the blowpipe, when used in player versus player combat, their attack speed is decreased by 1 tick to an attack speed of 4 ticks on accurate and longrange, or 3 ticks on rapid. Due to their faster attack speed, the crossbows have one less range compared to other crossbows, and their chance to trigger the effects of enchanted bolts is reduced by 50%.
