“These will protect my feet.”

About this item

Iron boots are member's only armour pieces that are worn in the footwear slot. There are no requirements for wearing these boots. To obtain Iron boots the player can either obtain them as a drop from Cockatrices and Cave slimes, defeated using the Slayer skill, or from trading with another player. As with all metal boots, this piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill.

it moves further in a day than the spread you are trying to capture

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 5.51% in a day, which is more than the 2.01% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
