About this item
Gold ore can be mined from gold rocks at level 40 Mining, providing 65 Mining experience. After it is mined, it takes 60 seconds to regenerate. Gold ore is used to smelt gold bars at a furnace. Smelting a gold bar requires level 40 Smithing and gives 22.5 Smithing experience, or 56.2 with goldsmith gauntlets equipped.
