About this item

A spiny helmet is a helmet designed to protect the player from the attacks of wall beasts, located in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves. It requires 5 Defence to equip and has the same stats as a steel full helm. It can be bought from any Slayer Master for 650 coins. This is one of the six items used to craft a Slayer helmet.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 4.91% in a day, which is more than the -36.62% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
