“A pile of Maple tree leaves.”

About this item

Maple leaves are obtained from cutting maple trees, at a rate of 1 in 4 when the Forestry kit is in the player's inventory or equipped. They are used in creating Forester's rations, as well as compost in compost bins. They can also be obtained by using secateurs to cure a planted maple tree of disease.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary. Worth noting here: this item typically moves 5.43% in a day, which is more than the 3.99% you would be capturing — so holding it overnight risks more than the flip makes.
