About this item
A proboscis (plural proboscises or proboscides) is an item dropped by mosquitoes encountered during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. It is used to inject sulliuscep mushrooms in the Tar Swamp with fungicide spray, causing them to die and respawn in another location. This was most often done when the sulliuscep is found in a location where the player is easily exposed to Tar Monsters. After an update, most sulliuscep are out of range of any tar monsters.
