“A tiny chunk of sandstone.”

About this item

Sandstone is an item that can only be mined from sandstone rocks, requiring level 35 Mining. Sandstone rocks can be found in the quarry south of Bandit Camp, at the Necropolis mine in the Necropolis, and at the Cape Conch mine on The Great Conch island. The first two areas are subject to desert heat, so players mining there need waterskins, the circlet of water, or the Desert amulet 4 to avoid taking damage. Sandstone respawns quickly, so a player can mine continuously at a group of only 3-4 rocks.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
