The steel knife is a throwing knife that requires a Ranged level of 5 to wield. It is stronger than an iron knife but weaker than a black knife. To create steel knives, the player must have at least 37 Smithing. Each steel bar will create 5 steel knives and give the player 37.5 Smithing experience.
