About this item

Onyx bolt tips are attached to the tips of runite bolts to create onyx bolts, or to dragon bolts to create dragon onyx bolts, which can then be enchanted to make onyx bolts (e) and onyx dragon bolts (e), respectively. Onyx bolt tips can be created through the Fletching skill. A player must have a Fletching level of 73 and take a cut onyx and use a chisel with it to make 24 onyx bolt tips. This is not recommended because the gem itself is worth far more than the bolt tips.

Measured with medians rather than averages, because one spike — an update, a streamer, a brief squeeze — drags an average around for weeks afterwards and makes everything since look ordinary.
